London Zoo: ‘Cubcam’ footage shows newborn rare Sumatran tiger

London Zoo has shared the first snapshots of an adorable Christmas arrival – an endangered Sumatran tiger cub – since it was born on Sunday, December 12.

“Cubcam” captured the cub’s first moments with his 10-year-old mother, Geisha.

According to the zoo, the Sumatran tiger is the rarest and smallest subspecies of tigers in the world, and the latest figures indicate that only 300 tigers survive in the wild.
