According to Articles 2 and 3 of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the International Atomic Energy Agency is obligated to encourage and support the provision of peaceful nuclear technology to all countries, according to the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad Eslami, according to Mehr.
Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) praised Iran’s achievements in the field of space programs as well as science parks under pressure and sanctions from enemies.
Eslami also referred to the country’s peaceful nuclear program, saying that in accordance with Articles 2 and 3 of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, the IAEA is obligated to encourage and support the provision of peaceful nuclear technology to all countries.
He criticized that international organizations do not extend a hand to countries to achieve nuclear technology under the mentioned articles.
According to him, a number of countries have been given a special privilege to possess nuclear technology, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty is used only as a smear tool.
