A newly established autism center has been established by Heydar Aliyev Autism Center Foundation in Nizami district, Baku, according to Trend.
The opening of the center was attended by the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva and her two daughters, Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva.
The Rehabilitation Center for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder has been operating since 2013. But the center has not had a permanent building yet. The construction of the center, commissioned on December 31 – on the eve of the Day of Solidarity with Azerbaijanis in the World and the New Year, was a real gift for children with autism spectrum disorders.
After viewing the building, First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughters Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva met with children with autism spectrum disorder.
