Police say one person was killed after a shooting in downtown Toronto on Saturday night.
In a series of tweets Saturday night, Toronto police said several shots were fired near a fast food restaurant near Church Street and Bloor Street East around 10:52 p.m. ET.
A man was seriously injured after the shooting near the Etobicoke Hall
Officers said a male victim was found at the scene who had been “seriously injured by the gunfire”.
The police stated that the victim was taken to the hospital, where he died of his injuries and was declared dead.
